AN ASUTE FOR BOTCHAN?

In these days, there are many Japanese young men who want to be cute and beautiful. Like book says, `boys are moving away from “macho” personal styles to the use of cosmetics, facials, the shaving of body hair, and the frequenting of esute salons`. I want to interpret this kind of phenomenon as the view of gender. Traditionally, Japanese house was patricentric system. So, Japanese people thought that men have to do their role as men. It means that family have to follow father`s decision. Men had to be strong, and their image was always authoritative. But in these days, Japanese men and women`s position are almost the same. Men don`t need to be strong, and also women don`t like authoritative guys. Men become to care about their fashion style, and their beauty like women do. Women want to make their boyfriend cute. And it is the same thing with that men want pretty girl. And like book says, there are some men who become feminized. I think it is not that men become feminized, but men and women become equal as the view of gender.

Japanese divorce

In Japan, these days, many wife who want to divorce with their husband are waiting for their husband`s retirement. It is called `JYUKUNEN RIKON`.
It is kinds of these day divorce trend. Because wife want to get money from their husband as their divorce fee, they are waiting for only their husband`s retirement. And, at the same time with their husband`s retirement, they require much money to their husband as a divorce fee. They get much money, and they divorce each other. I just wonder that it happens in America. And I also wonder what kinds of divorce trend are now?

Dating in Japan

There are lots of styles of dating in Japan, so I will introduce the first dating of Japanese couples. Usually, going to the movie in the first dating is most popular style, and from young people like middle school couples to senior people like middle age couples, almost all couples like to go to the movie. This is because movie theatres have nice atmosphere and they do not need to speak anything when they are watching the movies. After watching movies, they can chat about the movie they watched, with having coffee. Therefore, they have to be careful when they choose which movies they are gonna watch.
The first dating of Korean couples is almost same as Japanese one, but there are some differences from Japanese dating style. Especially, guys' behaviors toward their girl friends' are more friendly than Japanese one. guys always carry their girl friends' bags when they are dating. This fact makes Japanese people surprised, but in Korea we can see lots of guys who are having two bags. Moreover, after dating guys always see their girlfriends off to their house even if their houses are far from guys' houses.

日本のデートスタイルは様々ですが、私は日本の最初のデートについて紹介したいと思います。
日本では映画を見に行くことが最も人気のあるスタイルで、若い人々から年配の人々まで皆映画を観るのが好きです。なぜなら、映画館の雰囲気はがとても良いことと、映画の上映中何も話す必要がないからだと思われます。なので、どの映画を観るのか選ぶ時、注意して選ばないといけません。なぜなら、映画を観終わった後、その映画の話をご飯を食べながらするからです。
韓国のデートスタイルは大体日本と同じですが、少し違う面もあり、特に彼氏の彼女に対する態度が違います。韓国では、彼氏はいつも彼女の鞄を持ってあげます。このことは日本人をよく驚かせますが、もし私たちが韓国に行ったらよく見る光景です。また、彼氏は自分の家から遠くても、彼女を彼女の家まで送ります。

school group

I thought there are two features, after comparing with the American school and Japanese school. One thing is similar thing, and another thing is different thing.First of all, the similar thing is that school groups are made of the people who has the similar types of interesting. I think it is very natural thing and it can be same all over the world. On the other hand, the different thing is the characters of each school groups. In Japanese school, if the group in which bad guys gather makes fun of another group in which good guys gather, good guys group will never resist or fight because they are not good at fighting and they think bad guys group as a stupid group. However, In American school, each groups always fight. Good guys groups cannot help resisting if they are made fun of by other groups even if they think that they are intelligent and others groups are stupid. I think the reason of this difference between Japanese school groups and American one is that American people are more independent than Japanese people and they have strong individuality.

私の名前はパクテサンです。早稲田大学社会科学部１年生です。

出身は韓国で日本に住んだのは今年で２年目です。コロラドにはまだ行ったことないですが、今年の夏休みにアメリカのニューヨークに行って来ました。今度機会があれば、是非コロラドにも行きたいと思います。

専攻は社会科学ですが、特に社会科学の中で経営に関心があります。将来アメリカで働けたらいいなと思っています。＾ー＾

この頃は、このような理由で英語の勉強を頑張っていますが、英語はやっぱり難しいなと思います。

この授業で皆と楽しく英語と日本語に勉強したいと思います。

私はコーヒーが大好きです。上にある写真も今回ニューヨークのマンハッタンのスタバでコーヒーを飲みながら撮った写真です。皆さんの中でコーヒーが好きな方がいらっしゃれば、いつでも話しかけてください＾＾

My name is PARK TAESAN. I am a first year student of Waseda university at School of Social science . I am from Korea, and this is my second year of living in Japan.

I have never been Colorado, but i went to America New york this summer vacation. And someday, i also plan to go to Colorado.

My major is socail science, and i am especially interested in management. If i have a chance to get a job in America, i want to work in the United states.

In thesedays, i am very hard to study English. But i think English is very hard. I want to enjoy studying English and Japanese with you through this class.
